Web Planning - July

• Continuing User Testing Improvements

• Start creating tags/tools to track users across sites

• Report from focus group on Login/Account issues

• Begin planning content audit for repetitions and/or inconsistencies

• Determine what content should be supported by existing videos

• Quarterly update: RP, Glossary and Site Map pages

Some might be bumped out as we are taking longer on the June executions

Want the full team to be here for this discussion

• Esen reports ongoing discussions between Allocations and Operations; all coordinating with Terry Fleury (currently on PTO) ; also looking to address the Login > Questions, Register pages

• Per Rebecca: For the videos, I think YouTube will let us at least add a caption or overlay with some text to tell users “Our site theme has updated but these steps are valid” or something like that

• QU: need to update the Site Map with the new Operations pages; Login discussions are uncovering potential glossary updates

We need to employ Matt Y’s code across sites to ensure people stay logged in as they navigate across sites

Need a reasonable date for teams to accomplish this (need Support in attendance)

Per NSF, we need to be more clear with our language

• RP tickets are for existing RPs

  • check RP page quicklinks

• Other tickets should all take you to the same place

Team discussed that this is largely a language issue focused on the “For Resource Providers” main nav landing page

We will invite Dinuka and Esen to a Monday meeting (Dina, Chris, Matt, Lissie) to hash out
