Slides: Embedding Data from XDMoD in ACCESS Web Pages — ACCESS Quarterly Meeting 2024-06
Type: Plenary
Presenter: Aaron Weeden
Note take: Ryan Rathsam
Follow up:
Should these be looked at?
Auto Generate reports of historical usage for / of a group which can be included in the Allocation Request.
Resource Recommender / Resource Catalog systems could benefit from historical Job Wait Time data.
List of data sources for ACCESS XDMoD should be prominently displayed, including which RPs are sending what data.
List of statistics and dimensions available within XDMoD should be prominently listed and described ( Summer 2024 inter REU project ).
Has this get together been scheduled?
Come up with a shared method of generating content that is easily consumable by AI / Natural Language models.
Joe: We have the work being done by the REU student. Let’s schedule a time to meet up and compare notes on the work done so far.
Current plan is to coordinate with Support & the AI work that they’ve been doing.
Vikram: They’d be happy to work with us to share what they’ve found so far.
Where are we on auto-generated reports?
It would be interesting to explore more detailed metrics for the Groups / RPs
Would be interested in what data MMS would like to have included in external sites.
It would be great to come up with additional summary metrics that give insight into ACCESS as a whole.
Also metrics that may provide useful in differentiating RPs.
More early Sharing on AI Assistance between groups would be good.
Would RPs want to supply XDMoD stats to their users that best showcases their resource.
Embed dynamic data on Resources in Resource Catalogs.
Does the communications team have any data they would like shared?
Carbon Utilization Methods - are they ready yet?
We intend to provide power metrics
Nikolay:
We don’t currently get power metrics from ACCESS resources.
Dave:
Can we set bounds ( make guestimates ) / use known performance profiles for hardware?
Nikolay:
We may be able to do something like that, but we would like to get the real values too.
Affinity Group Pages, which can be linked to Resource Pages.
May be able to pull out historical usage and show for persona’s.
