Login to What?

Your ACCESS account will allow you to login to a variety of ACCESS web services. The set of ACCESS web services can be used to get accounts at Resource Providers (RPs) – note that accounts at RPs are RP-specific (in other words, you will not use your ACCESS user ID on the RP sites).

ACCESS web services include the following:

  • Allocations Portal: The ACCESS Allocations portal is where researchers may:

  • ACCESS Support Portal (ASP): Users who need help should start their search at the ASP portal. The ASP portal provides multiple levels of user support including:

    • Tier 1 Support: Help with user-friendly ACCESS user-tools and interfaces including Open-On-Demand and Pegusus.

    • Tier 2 Support: Help using the ACCESS knowledge-base consisting of Confluence support articles, Ask.CI community questions and answers, and Cnct.ci database of experts and expertise.

    • Tier 3 Support: Help with short-term projects provided by ACCESS student support guided by an ACCESS mentor.

    • Tier 4 Support: Help with long-term projects via embedded experts.

  • Operations Portal: The ACCESS Operations portal provides information for:

    • Resource Providers, including the RP Forum where RPs can discuss problems, solutions, best practices, and more.

    • Broader Impacts (to be completed).

    • CyberSecurity policies, services, support, incident management, and other aspects related to ACCESS CyberSecurity.

    • Data and Networking (to be completed).

    • Operations support for RPs, ACCESS project PIs, and ACCESS-affiliated developers.

  • Monitoring and Measurement (MMS, aka Metrics) Portal: The monitoring and measurement portal provides access to XDMoD to explore system (e.g., compute, storage, networking) and user usage (e.g., software, data) information.
