  1. Working Group Updates

    1. New working group being proposed by the roadmaps WG: “Storage Futures.” @Tim Boerner

      1. Purposes:

        1. Clarifying what the current ACCESS-integrated storage resources are and becoming more specific about how they’re integrated with ACCESS

        2. Creating space for new kinds of ACCESS-integrated storage resources in light of campus research computing storage, NSF CC* data storage awards, object storage systems like OSN and Jetstream-2 Storage, etc.

      2. Draft WG charter

  2. Approval of summaries from prior EC meetings @Shawn Strande (5 mins)

  3. Confusion regarding decisions made in EC vs Working Groups @Shelley Knuth (25 mins)

    1. Clarity around when and how a WG is created; a finite number and what those WG's are.

    2. WG’s should meet often so they are aware of each other's work

    3. A clear decision making process needs to be documented

    4. Action Item - Next step is to take this agenda topic to the ACO for discussion. Goal is for the ACO to draft a one pager that will be shared with the EC later.

      1. ACCESS Allocations and Open Science Pool (Miron L., Frank W.) met at NSF’s behest to discuss possible alignment of ACCESS and OSPool allocations. Mostly info sharing. More conversations to come.

    2. MATCH @Shelley Knuth

      1.  Moving forward with Intro to ACCESS trainings. Continuing to move forward on pilots. Have our first CCEP award!

    3. CONECT @Tim Boerner

      1. Recruitment for STEP is coming along nicely. 17 applicants thus far.

      2. Ticketing system migration to Jira Service Management is in full swing heading towards an April 1 deployment date. Team is offering several options for RPs to join calls to see the new system, ask questions, etc.

a. ACCESS-wide concierge services to new users from AI Institutes. How/who would we like to offer to help with their inquiries? How can we compile their traffic to anticipate effort to scale up?
