  • New XRAS Features

    • Grant type

    • Editor for system email addressesq

  • Reporting route memory usage: /v1/reports/allocations

  • Requests/suggestions:

    • Please use API versioning whenever major API changes happen

    • Can we manage invitation-only opportunities in an easier way? (either sync with an ldap group, or just hide the invitation but make it available to anyone with a magic link)

    • Request for better tooling for reviewing past usage in xras review

  • Bugs: sorting of admin comments doesn’t work

 

Dec 14, 2023:

  • New XRAS Features:

    • New notification event type: “Each review submitted”

    • Coming soon: new reporting API routes with more detail about requests

    • Coming soon: upgrades

  • Requests/suggestions

    • Option to suppress notifications for a particular admin action

    • Collect publications (many votes for this)

    • Additional customization of which fields appear on submit UI (be able to hide documents, supporting grants, etc, per allocation type)

 

Sep 14, 2023:

  • New XRAS Features

    • Better usage view in XRAS Review

    • Failed email notifications will now appear in the XRAS Admin dashboard (“resend” button coming soon)

  • Upcoming work:

    • “Upgrade” action coming soon, discussed possible use cases for different institutions

      • Yes, this will technically work as a downgrade or any “move between opportunitites”

      • It will require the requester to qualify for the new opportunity type (entering all required field values, etc)

      • New opportunity questions will apply. We won’t have an easy automatic way to match up old question with new questions if they have the same or similar text, but would consider evaluating if this is possible

    • Questions/Suggestions?

      • NCAR would like to autofill NSF grants from grant number

      • TACC is interested in a few more reporting API routes

      • Discussed the best way to see requests that need attention, they should all be on the dashboard.
