ACCESS Metrics

The SUNY at Buffalo team provides monitoring and measurement services (MMS) as part of the Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Coordination Ecosystem: Services & Support (ACCESS) program. The monitoring and measurement services are facilitated through SUNY Buffalo’s XDMoD (XD Metrics on Demand) tool and its open-source counterpart, Open XDMoD. Open XDMoD is in use worldwide for advanced CI monitoring and reporting in academia and industry.

ACCESS MMS collects information on the ACCESS CI including compute, storage, networking and software/data services. Tese data are available via ACCESS XDMoD and NetSage for ACCESS

ACCESS XDMoD provides reporting on ACCESS supported CI. This includes:

  • Allocations Information;

  • Usage data;

  • Job Performance Data;

  • Science Gateway Usage;

  • Resource Quality of service data (via Application Kernels);

  • HPC Job Efficiency Analytics

  • Power Usage data;

  • Commercial and Non-Commercial Cloud Usage.

NetSage for ACCESS provides reporting on ACCESS supported networking and data tansfers:

  • Network Usage data in collaboration with the NetSage project;

  • Globus Transfers.
