  • You may only connect with an external microphone (puck, headset, microphone and speaker combo, earbuds etc.). Internal laptop microphones are discouraged, as they cause echo during calls and at times disable the call entirely. Actions

PY 4 goals

  • John - for each of the teams - they have outlined goals for PY4

    • Can these be inserted into the Milestone tracking for the EC?

    • Talk at next EC meeting about entry

  • Tom F - Resource providers - with log file analysis what is state of the art?

    • Jeremy - real time for security - for trends it is post processing - would be a good question for the RPs in an RP forum

    • JP - could Omnisite possibly present to us what they do?

Standing Committee Processes

JP - how does standing committee work with EC to make high level decisions - committee weighs input - do they toss it to EC early before they spend time? Go / no go - or do they vet it out more and provide list of this is what we can offer and how we offer it - and then allow the EC to review and choose.  This is what needs decided.

  • we should iron out the process and give all SCs a copy of the How to

XDMoD

Andrew P - nice work - has been working on front end for QA tool - looking at how to integrate this new backend part - had progress on the integration - would like to talk with Andrew S about this

Allocations:

Andrew P - has some info with user profile data - would like to make sure this is captured too

ACCESS OnDemand

David Hudak 1:35 PM

If we wanted to encourage RPs to move from OnDemand v1.X to OnDemand v4.0x, should we have two different badges, OnDemand1 and OnDemand3? Or does the badge contain information about the version number that can be updated as RPs refresh their install?

Joe W - can we use OnDemand to gather publication info? Embed it in interface to update profile

CIDeR improvements

Joe W - improvements - getting RPs to update info in CidR to relate to the real world - what are thoughts about incentifying updates

Jeremy - most of the time they just forget - something that could help would be a quarterly meeting reminder? It is easy to delete an email.  Slack is easy to ignore.  Engage 3 or 4 times a year.

Aaron W - add it to RP forum meeting?

Jeremy - perhaps a better place would be Tom’s operations meeting. RP forum is more PIs

Tom can add to agenda
