      1. Cybersecurity Governance Council has started meeting and reviewing security policies. Policies have been sorted into tiers based on level of priority. Highest priority policies will be voted on for approval prior to Sept 1. Less critical policies may not be approved until after Sept. 1, but the XSEDE baseline docs will be referred to in the interim period.

      2. Add any content that you wish to share with RPs to the collection doc ASAP today. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LQWG1nIEZKe-h8u_N2ZnF1-vDNN93l-7muSDbxqXosQ/edit

  4. EC charter vote John Towns (10 min)

  5. Monkeypox Research Tom Gulbransen (10 min)

    1. CISE/OAC is drafting a DCL to promote readiness of ACCESS to serve prospective monkeypox researchers.  Currently there are simply a few sentences highlighting the ability to make urgent allocation requests and user support services to match researchers with CIP. Preliminary site URLs are embedded. The DCL will likely be released soon, i.e. pre-1sep, which ironically aligns with the rare blackout interval for allocations. So be it – I’m told there have not yet been many inquiries from monkeypox researchers. We’ll see if a consortium becomes warranted. For now let’s ensure we talk through potential use cases and spawn a workgroup if needed.

  6. ACCESS Communications Plan Dina Meek (10 min)

    1. Communications plan sent to PIs for review on 12 Aug.

  7. Time permitting: EC Backlog Review: Update priority/items for next EC meeting John Towns

Next EC Meeting: 23 August 2022
