ACCESS Operations: Cybersecurity Support

ACCESS Operations will provide cybersecurity operations, governance, and services to enable the support and protection of ACCESS CI. Attacks on scientific computing infrastructure threaten the ability to ensure a safe, secure, and trustworthy shared CI ecosystem. The core mission of this activity is to work with RPs and other Tracks to provide these assurances. The team will integrate multiple NSF investments into cybersecurity processes, technologies, and tools through the use of security services, authentication technologies, and threat intelligence sharing. ACCESS Operation’s Cybersecurity Support activity will focus on developing a Cybersecurity Governance Council (CGC), operations and services, federated identity, and authorization strategies. Additionally, security personnel will contribute to the development and training of the next generation STEM workforce through the STEP program.
