IDENTITY/CILogon:

Needs to implement new universal menu

TBD if they should implement the universal footer?

JP is going to interface with Identity; he has reached out to them.

Matt to continue conversations with JP

Support has requested to change “My Engagements” to “Community Persona” with the link to https://support.access-ci.org/community-persona

We are dropping the “Mys” for now; Nathan to run by Allocations team

I wonder about changing “My Allocations” to “Allocations” so it appears first in the menu? That seems like the most commonly used “My ACCESS” menu item? We’ll have data about that eventually, but that’s my guess anyway.

To be consistent, that might mean changing “My Publications” to “Publications”.

We’re considering another link “Open a help ticket” or “Open a ticket” in the “My ACCESS” menu. Does anyone have thoughts about that?

- Will add Open a ticket when Andrew gives us the go-ahead (redesigning that page)

From Dina/Nathan via email:

Concerned it will be confusing as we already have “Allocations”

Dina Meek to determine what links are final - and share with Q - for footers: AUP, CoC, PP

...

Actually we all end up on the same page so Logout is ok

Code of Conduct - New!

Privacy Policy - still in flux with UofI cybersecurity team

AUP - done; keep link going to identity subdomain

Group (in attendance today) agrees logging in should take you directly to the CILogon page

Too low contrast for the theme

Defer to next meeting with Andrew/Support in attendance

Defer to next meeting with Q in attendance

Tolbert, Nathan L to run dropping “My” from “My Allocations” in post-login menu (team was concerned it would be confusing, but worth a try)

⤴ Decisions

  • Team thought it would be best, for now, to go to a landing page that shows you’ve been logged out

  • John-Paul Navarro would interface with the Identity group to ensure their site matches the rest
